Two-piece post-hardcore band I Set My Friends On Fire announced a new album release on June 21st through Epitaph Records. The new album is titled ‘Astral Rejection,’ and has been said that it ”expands their musical palette” from their debut by more “chaotic moments, brutal breakdowns, electronica interludes and melodic choruses.”

Austin Carlile Rejoins Of Mice & Men

Of Mice & Men have decided let founding vocalist Austin Carlile back in the band after choosing to let go of Jerry Roush
(Ex-Sky Eats Airplane). They plan to hit the studio this month to record their second full length album due
out around summer of 2011.

Jerry Roush has issued a departing statement for the public:

“After sacrificing a year out of my life to keep a band afloat and touring after they kicked out the original
singer, I just got a call informing me that they are bringing him back and my services were no longer
needed. They didn’t offer me a reason. I think it’s a little odd seeing how they all talked epic amounts of
shit on him the entire time. Anyway, I already have some new stuff up my sleeve and I WILL NOT stop. This
isn’t the last of Jerry Roush. Thanks to everyone who supported me… keep a lookout!”
